Hyundai the South- Korean automobile manufacturing company has been awarded another great milestone in India as the company managed to sell eight million units of cars throughout in India during 19 years and six months, in which the Creta facelift model has secured the position of the eight-millionth car. Now the Hyundai has been considered the fastest four- wheeler manufacturer in India and managed to achieve great sales milestone in India.
The company commenced its operation in India in 1998, since its operation the Hyundai has managed to sell up to 53 lakh units throughout India and exported more than 27 lakh units. Even, the automobile manufacturer has claimed that it is the largest car exporter in India and export cars nearly to 88 countries including Middle East, Latin America Africa and the Asia Pacific.
The company stated that the highest selling records ever in the domestic market were 5,36,241 units in between 2017-2018 FY, reported a growth of 5.2 percent. Santro was launched in 1998 and the company had taken 7 years 6 months to reach one-millionth unit of sales milestone. And just after that, the company had sold two million units of cars within two years and seven- months.

The company stated that 14,000 units of recently launched Hyundai Creta 2018 have been booked by the consumers within the 10 days after the commencement of the sale. The automobile manufacturer has also launched CVT automatic version of the petrol-powered i20 facelift, the refreshed version of i20 Active, and currently working on to launch all-new tall-boy hatchback, which most probably comes with the name of Santro.
