Hyundai Hybrid Cars at the Paris Motor Show 2014

The hybrid cars are rolling in mass at the Paris 2014 event. All the famous manufacturer's are going gaga over these eco-friendly cars and have launched some spectacular ones at the show. The latest company added to the group is the Hyundai and the cars which have been launched by the company are its famous i30 CNG and i40 48V hybrid versions. And, the Hyundai's group company Kia also have launched the Optima hybrid car alongside the above mentioned cars. Here below are some more information about the cars, though mainly mechanical: 

Hyundai i30 CNG

The Hyundai i30 CNG has been equipped with the 1.4 Litre T-GDI engine, that is the company's new Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection technology producing 117 PS power and 206 Nm of torque. The car is 14 KG lighter than its current 1.4 Litre Gamma Unit.

Hyundai i40 48V Hybrid

The Hyundai i40 48V Hybrid comes with the belt-driven generator and recharges the 48V battery during the deceleration. The car can be used on the on the fully-electric mode at the lower speeds and the engine produces 155 PS and 360 Nm of torque as the total. 

The Kia Optima sibling of the Hyundai also comes with a hybrid engine in accordance with its 1.7 Litre engine.
