It seems like nowadays each and every carmaker in the automobile industry is seeking to introduce their own SUVs. The market is already brimming with SUVs and now one more is going to be introduced by Hyundai. The vehicle is named as Tuscon and it has been already displayed at Geneva Motor Show. As per some fresh reports, the model could be launched in India as well owing to the growing popularity of heavy vehicles in the country. Internationally, the car is a hit among the masses and Hyundai hopes the same to happen in India much like the Creta.

Under the hood, it could be fitted with a diesel motor comprising a 1.7 litre motor or a 2 litre unit. The former develops 114Bhp of maximum power while the latter makes 182Bhp of output. This power is transmitted to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. As far as Indian version is concerned certain changes could be made to these specs.
From outside, it features several appealing cosmetic elements like hexagonal grille flanked by elongated head lights and the bold fog lamp inclosure at either sides imparting a muscular stance to the model. The top end variant could be offered with smart equipments including 19-inch alloys, LED headlamps, electric tail gate panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, keyless entry, leather upholstery and much more. Safety will be ensured through the components like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, autonomous parking and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
