Last month, Hyundai had revealed a sketch of its upcoming luxury sedan under the brand name Genesis. And recently, the automobile giant has revealed the image off the saloon along with its official name. The market reports indicate that the car will be named Genesis G90 globally. Its launch will take place in early 2016 in Korea where it will be labeled as EQ900, whereas in the global market, the launch could be postponed till the second half of 2016. Many portions are distinctive, yet the side profile may remind you of a typical Mercedes model look.

Dimensionally, the car is 5205 mm in length, 1915 mm in width, 1495 mm tall and offers a wheelbase of around 3160 mm. It is believed that another category of model will be available with a wheelbase of 3450 mm and length of 5495 mm. Hyundai claims that more than half of the G90's structure is made up of high strength steel. Moreover, the sedan is 10% lighter in weight yet two times stronger than usual steel. The exterior is beautified by equipments like angular window line, large hexagonal grille, LED tail lights and chrome accents at certain portions.

The interior is adorned in chocolate brown leather upholstery and the pronounced use of wood trim just complements the pleasant ambiance. There is a 12.3 inch infotainment unit, Lexicon sound system, 3-zone smart climate control and wireless charging. Moreover, the rear occupants get to avail a tablet each featuring a 9.2 inch display. The centre console is stretched upto the rear portion of the cabin making a partition between the electrically adjustable seats. Mechanically, there will be three variants with varying configurations consisting of a 3.8 litre Lambda V6, 3.3 Lambda V6 Turbo and a 5.0 Tau V8 unit. Power is transmitted to all the wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
