Hero Splendor iSmart from Hero stable won many hearts and received huge claps and whistles in Indian two-wheeler market. The company had introduced i3S (Ideal Start Stop System) technology first in the Hero Splendor 100cc commuter motorcycle, that you have ever seen in other motorcycles. After the success of Hero Splendor iSmart in India two-wheeler market, now again, the company is going to repeat the history of Hero Super Splendor.
The 2016 Hero Super Splendor iSmart, which was recently caught during the testing, will make its first debut in public at the forthcoming 2016 Auto Expo, whereas, the launch will follow after the soon. In terms of design, the Super Splendor iSmart is likely to be identical to the current Splendor 125. The new motorcycle will come equipped with an array of dynamic updates, including revised fuel tank, i3S graphics, three pod instrument cluster, split grab rails, new side panels, single piece handlebar and revised tail section.

The environment friendly i3S technology enable the 2016 Super Splendor i3S hike up its fuel efficiency figure to around 85 KMPL, that will make it the most fuel efficient motorcycle in this segment. The i3S technology equipped motorcycle is likely to be powered by the same 124.7 cc air-cooled four-stroke single cylinder motor. The 125cc motor might be tuned to deliver enhanced power and torque. The current Super Splendor returns 9.12 PS of power at 7000 RPM and 10.35 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. To make riding more convenient, the company might introduced disc brake in 2016 Super Splendor iSmart.
In terms of style, performance, mileage and price, the new motorcycle will compete with its closest rival, Honda CB Shine SP that is recently launched in the country. The 2016 Super Splendor iSmart to be priced around Rs. 60,000.
