New Hero Passion Pro & Glamour BS6 Launched; Hero Xtreme 160R Coming Soon

Hero Motocorp has today launched the new BS6 variants of the Passion Pro and the Hero Glamour motorbikes, while at the same time unveiling the new Xtreme 160R, which will be launched soon. At the same event, the company has also unveiled the XPulse 200 Rally Kit which will go on sale starting next month.

New Xtreme 160R

The new Xtreme 160R is a definite upgrade to the ongoing variant. It comes with a BS6-compliant, air-cooled, 160cc, electronic fuel injection engine with a claimed power of 15bhp. It comes with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. During the launch, the two-wheeler has claimed that the bike can go 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

The bike will come with 37mm telescopic front suspension, 17-inch wheels with disc brakes and 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock. Other exciting features include LED headlamp and taillamp, hazard light switch, LED turn indicators, inverted digital display, sides, and engine cut-off, etc. It is expected to be launched in 3 color options - White with Grey, Blue with Grey and Sports Red with Grey. The two variants are - front disc with single-channel ABS and double-disc (front and rear) with single-channel ABS.

New Passion Pro BS6

A new variant of the Hero’s popular Passion Pro has also been launched today. Naturally, it’s a BS6 compliant vehicle and comes with a 110cc, XSens programmed fuel injection motor with a power generating capacity of 9.02bhp and 9.79Nm of torque.

The bike has been equipped with a front disk brake. It also has a new headlamp, triple-tone graphics, signature taillamp and real-time mileage indicator on a Digi-analog cluster. There are three color options - Sports Red, Techno Blue, Moon Yellow and Glaze Black color, and two variants - self drum alloy and self disc alloy.

New Glamour BS6

Another highlight of the event was the launch of the BS6 variant of another popular Hero Glamour, which is a 125cc commuter bike. The new variant will have 125cc, XSens programmed fuel injection engine which is BS6 compliant. It will produce 10.73bhp of peak power and 10.6Nm of torque.

Same as the Passion Pro BS6, this one also comes with a front disk brake. It has a new headlamp, alloy wheels and LED taillights, among other things. The color options include Sports Red, Techno Blue, Tornado Grey, and Candy Red. Two variants are self drum alloy and self disc alloy.

All three new Hero two-wheelers are built on a diamond frame. Both the BS6 bikes get the company’s auto sail technology and i3S (idle start-stop system).
