Indian Motorcycles Confirms Springfield: Arriving in 2016

The American manufacturer, Indian Motorcycles, is all geared up for the new Springfield to be offered as the next product in its cruiser segment after the Scout Sixty, which was showcased by the company at 2015 EICMA Motorcycle show held in Milan last month. Seems like nothing is going to stop the automaker from turning it to one of the most victorious cruiser brands.

The new Springfield motorcycle will set its presence in 2016 and is expected to inherit same 1811cc, V-twin air-cooled engine that produces 91 BHP of power, 139 Nm of torque and same chassis as the Indian Chief Classic. The same motor also powers the other animals of current line-up that include Dark Horse, Roadmaster, Classis, Chieftain and Vintage Chiefs.

However, no details about the design and styling of the bike has been reported yet, but it is anticipated to resemble the contemporary chief range. The information has been delivered by the US Environmental protection Agency website. The "Indian Springfield" trademark had been applied by the company around a year ago.
