Indian Motorcycles Introduced Entry Level Scout Sixty at INR 11.99 lakh

Indian motorcycles has extended its Indian product portfolio by the introduction of Indian Scout Sixty in the country. The entry-level cruiser offering from the American motorcycle maker, is the most affordable one and priced at Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It will get the place below Indian Scout in the lineup and will go on sale in the month of July, 2016.

On styling, it shares the similar components from the big brother Scout which include broad fenders, large fuel tank, single seat, visible bigger V-twin motor, long exhaust pipes, etc. While, the instrument cluster keep a digital tachometer, speedometer, trip meter, engine temperature and low fuel indicators for the rider’s aid.

Powering for the Scout Sixty comes from a new 999cc V-twin petrol motor which produces 78 bhp of power and 88 Nm of torque at 5800 rpm. And the motor is mated to five speed one-down four-up gearbox, The Scout Sixty name of the cruiser is also dependent on the used engine which having 60 cu-in motor.

The big brother, Indian Scout is being offered by the auto giant at the price tag of Rs 12.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). And it is nearer 88,000 more expensive than the rolled out Scout Sixty. Having the powertrain of 1131 cc displacement the Scout produces power and torque, 99bhp and 97.7 Nm respectively. Other than this, both the cruisers sharing same brakes, chassis and the suspension.
