Indian Scout Motorcycle Will go on Sale in November, 2014 in India

The world famous cruiser motorcycle maker, Indian Motorcycles, has decided to sell its newly launched Indian Scout in India. The manufacturer has recently introduced the Indian Scout motorcycle at the 2015 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which was held in Sturgis, South Dacota. The World Motorcycle Rally was going on from 2nd August to 9th August, 2014.

Now, the cruiser manufacturer is likely to introduce its all-new Indian Scout motorcycle over the Indian roads before 2015. Although, India is having only one showroom of Indian Motorcycles, which is located in Gurgaon, Haryana. The company is also looking forward to expand its business in India and planning to opening up more showrooms in various other big cities of India.

Currently, the Indian market is highly dominated by Royal Enfield and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. At the time of launch, the Indian Scout has received great positive response for this legendary motorcycle. The Indian Scout has made a comeback after 65 years. During the World War II, the Scout has become a legend and defeated many other motorcycles in the market war. And now, the manufacturer brings it back after so many years to again make a successful history. Apart from the Indian Scout, the Indian Chief is also planning to make its debut to come over India.

Indian Scout Motorcycles

Technically, the Indian Scout features an 1130cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine which is capable enough to generate 97.7Nm of torque and 100BHP of power. It has now become the lightest weight motorcycle, which only weighs 235KG. The upcoming motorcycle will be priced in between Rs 15-17 Lakh(Ex-Showroom), which should be inclusive of approx all taxes and import charges.
