Whereas the Grand Carnival is premium, powerful and large, it will give a tough fight to the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Innova Crysta is a superhit MPV from the company and buyers like it to own. The Innova Crysta is famous for low maintenance costs, reliability and comfort. To win against the Toyota MPV, the Kia has to put more efforts in making the sales of the Grand Carnival localize. As a CKD(completely knocked down) option, it may not be operable in the MPV segment which is for the cab marketers and beneficial in case of driving lakhs of kilometers. If the company built the Kia Grand Carnival units in India locally, it will also reduce the maintenance costs of the car.
