The 2019 Jeep Wrangler has been launched in India at the price tag of INR 63.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The new-gen Wrangler SUV will be available to purchase via CBU route, in a single 5-door Wrangler Unlimited variant.
The off-road SUV continues to follow the brand’s signature body language however with modern equipment. At the fascia, the SUV receives iconic seven-slot grille flanked by retro-looking round headlamp setup with LED lights.
Inside the cabin, the carmaker has made changes to provide a refreshing look. The 2019 Jeep Wrangler now gets a reworked dashboard while the centre console consisting an Uconnect 4C NAV 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with facilities such as navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control and much more. Other than this, the new Wrangler comes loaded with features like passive keyless entry, push-button start and much more. There is premium leather upholstery for the new 5-seat cabin layout. Also, the fully-featured dashboard of the Wrangler gets soft-touch leather treatment with contrast white stitching.

As compared to its outgoing model the newly launched Wrangler is pretty light in weight. Its body is made up of steel while the components such as the bonnet, doors and fenders are cast from aluminium. There are different locks on the SUV which are now controlled by the use of electronic switch placed on the centre console. Also, a button on the console gives aid of sway bars disconnection for extra articulation.
The 4-wheel drive system of the Jeep Wrangler is now available with an extra auto mode apart from a 4-wheel-drive high and 4-wheel-drive low mode. The auto mode works as per the sensors and controls traction slip accordingly.
The Jeep Wrangler 2.0 4x4 is being provided with only a single engine option. The 2.0-litre high power turbo petrol engine performs propelling duties on the off-road SUV in association with a brand new 8-speed automatic gearbox setup. The Jeep Wrangler is available with a warranty for 2 year and unlimited kilometres as well.
