2019 Kawasaki Ninja 125, Z125 Divulged Ahead of World Premiere on October 2

Kawasaki has already announced its entry in the low displacement category with the Ninja 125, Z125 models. Both of these 125cc upcoming were slated to make debut at the upcoming INTERMOT 2018 next month on October 2. It is a biennial event organised at Cologne, Germany. The youth will be the brand’s target audience in Europe as the primary market.

In terms of styling, both the Kawasaki Ninja 125 and Z125 draws inspiration from their respective elder siblings. The Ninja 125 wears a green-black livery derived from highly popular WSBK Ninja ZX-10RR race bike. The motorcycle is 1,935 mm in length, 685 mm in width and 1,075 mm in height. While, with the front leaning riding posture, the faired bike has a seat height of 785 mm.

On the other hand, the Kawasaki Z125 is an aggressive streetfighter that adorns purposeful LED headlamp, bold fuel tank extensions, and meaty tyres. Dimensionally, it measures similar in length to the Ninja 125 though it is 740 mm wide and 1,015 mm tall. The rider’s porch sets at the height of 815 mm. Stylewise, the traditional streetfighter ergonomics is being carried forward with slightly relaxed composure compared to the Ninja.

Most of the equipment like the underpinned chassis, engine, transmission setup, exhaust system, suspension and braking systems, and tyres as well are common on both the bikes.

The twins employ tubular trellis frame skeleton is based on the same technology used in the flagship H2 with the box-type swingarm. There are disc brakes at both wheels which are most likely to be associated with the dual channel ABS. both the bikes ride on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped up with 100/80-17 M/C 54S tyre up front and 130/70-17 M/C 62S at the rear.

For more details wait till its global debut slated on October 2, still, we can expect an all-digital instrument console. Official power specs are also not out, though the Ninja 125 and Z125 are likely to get a 125cc liquid-cooled engine beneath the fuel tank. The mill in question is expected to churn out the peak power around 15-18 hp.
