Kawasaki Vulcan S: - New ER6 Based Cruiser Motorcycle

The Kawasaki Motorcycles has made a recent announcement to add a cruiser motorcycle to its portfolio. Well, it seems that the Green team is quite busy with lots of surprises and introducing new products all around. The upcoming cruiser motorcycle would be named as Kawasaki Vulvan S, which is expected to be based upon existing sports model. At the INTERMOT motorcycle show, 2014, this Japanese firm has come up with the biggest surprise, i.e. Kawasaki Ninja H2, a Supercharged engined motorcycle with a power of 296 BHP. The manufacturer is buzzing around all across the world with its latest Ninja H2 super sports motorcycle. it will be coming in two variants: Track-oriented version and Street-version.

Kawasaki Vulcan S

Now, moving towards the Kawasaki Vulcan S, the manufacturer has mentioned that it is based upon the ER6 motorcycle. As of now, the firm will be going to launch the middleweight cruiser motorcycle, Vulcan S in the European portfolio by the coming year. It will get equipped with the very same engine, powering the Versys 650 and ER6 range of motorcycles. Projecting lights over the technical specifications, the Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a displacement of 649cc. The motor is capable to generate the total power of 61 BHP and a peak torque of 62.36 Nm.

The company has made it a middleweight cruiser motorcycle, as it weighs 225kg and 228kg equipped with ABS. The public appearance of the Kawasaki Vulcan S has been scheduled in the month of November, 2014. The EICMA will be going to start from 6th of November and the motorcycle gets showcased at 4th November, 2014, ahead of the international motorcycle show.
