As the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) is undergoing, all the automakers are bringing up their players to cheer the crowd. Well, keeping the thought of centralizing more eyeballs, Kawasaki Motor Indonesia also uses the same and launched its W800 retro classic for the country. Price for the standard edition model is tagged of IDR 249 millions (approx INR 12.72 Lakhs) for standard edition model, while its special edition variant will make you run for IDR 251 millions (approx 12.82 Lakhs).
On the mechanical front, both the variant will be powered by a 773 cc, air cooled, vertical twin cylinder engine, burns out 48 PS of power. A 5-speed transmission is mated to the engine for sending the power at wheels. Where the standard unit is decorated in Ocean Blue Paint, the special edition model is amazed by dual tone arrangement that is amalgamation of Ebony black paint with white out lines. Furthermore, only 50 units of the Kawasaki W800 are registered for Indonesia out of which 40 units being the special edition.
Coming over the cosmetic details, it houses circular headlights, long seat, a slender fuel tank with knee padding, chrome mud guards, spoke wheels, black rims, black painted silencer, etc. In terms of the safety features, the bike has come equipped with telescopic fork suspension up front and twin coil spring shock absorber at the rear. Stopping duties will be taken care of by disc brake up front wheel and drum at rear.
Well, all the units will be brought in Indonesia via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route and lock the horns with all new Triumph Bonneville and other rivals that fits in the same range.
