Kawasaki Z250 and Hyosung GD250N, delayed in launch

If you are planning to buy a street naked sports bike, then this could be the disappointing news for you. The launching ceremony of the most awaited bikes of this year, Kawasaki Z250 and Hyosung GD250N has postponed by both of their manufacturers.

Kawasaki, the enormous Japanese automobile manufacturer, scheduled the launch of “Kawasaki Z250” in between the of April-June, this year. The launch gets suspended, as the testing is still going on by the company to check whether it suits the Indian norms and conditions. Once the testing would be completed, the company will send the bike to ARAI for its homologation.

The Kawasaki Z250 is powered by 249cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel twin engine with fuel injection and Dual-throttle valve technology. The power figures of this bike is pretty much similar with Ninja 250R as the engine is expected to produce 33Bhp of maximum power with 22Nm of torque. The expected price of this quarter litre bike will be around Rs 2.5 Lakh.

And Hyosung, the Korean automobile manufacturer, were planning to launch their bike “Hyosung GD250N” in the mid of May-July, 2014. The launch get postponed by the manufacturing company as it is undergoing through the homologation process with ARAI.

Hyosung GD250N

This bike features only a single-cylinder with a 250cc liquid-cooled engine which makes 28Bhp unlike its predecessor 250cc bikes from Hyosung having twin cylinders. This Indo-Korean bike will be expected to be the cheapest bike and the price could be above Rs 2 Lakh.

The CKD kit of Hyosung GD 250N will be coming from South Korea and Kawasaki's kit will come from Thailand and both these naked street bikes will assembled in India.
