KTM Announced the Price Hike for its Indian Product Range

The increased rates in the excise duties for the two-wheelers in the country are affecting the international manufacturers also. There are various international motorcycle manufacturers housing in the country such as Benelli, Hyosung, Indian Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, KTM and various others. And, after the hike in the excise duties, the KTM has come-up on the top of the list to increase the prices of its products. The KTM has recently announced the new price list of its Indian product portfolio. Currently, the firm is having two series of motorcycles, KTM RC Series and Duke Series.

KTM RC 390

The hike in the excise duties results a 5.5 percent of price hike for KTM Duke 200 and up to 4 percent for KTM RC 390. The present day price of the KTM RC 390 will be Rs 2.12 Lacs and Rs 1.66 Lacs for KTM RC 200. The naked series of motorcycles, i.e. KTM Duke 390 and Duke 200 will also be affected with a price hike of Rs 8,000 and Rs 7,190, respectively. All prices are of Ex-Showroom Delhi. These days, KTM is pretty much busy in the on-going Dakar Rally event. The Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer has catered its off-road motorcycles to the Dakar Rally participants. The firm has participated in the Rally for so long and since its inception, it has won the 13 Dakar Rally in a steady manner. And, this time, the Austrian manufacturer is preparing for its 14th Conquest.

KTM Duke 390 and Duke 200

Alongside the price hike in the Indian product portfolio, the firm has also announced that they are working on a middleweight V-Twin engined motorcycle. Besides, it was being spotted while its testing once, accompanied with BMW's upcoming motorcycle.
