KTM will be Organizing RC Cup Series in United States

Are you a true RC 390 fan? If yes, then get ready to engage yourself in the upcoming KTM RC Series Sports bike racing. The Austrian sports bike manufacturer is planning to organize a racing event for its United States fan list. KTM Motorsports in partnership with MotoAmerica, together made a statement of organizing the RC Cup Series, 2014 in the United States. Well, it can also be said that the riders can get a chance to enter into the 2015 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM, which is an American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship Series.

The main attraction of the KTM RC Cup Series is that the riders will be getting a chance to ride factory sealed RC 390 cup bikes. However, the AMA is working for licensing, as it is giving chance to the entry-level young riders to try their hands on the race track. The age limit for the riders will be in between 14-22 years. The main reason behind organizing this entry-level racing event by giving chance to the young rides is to find out the hidden talent among the US youngsters.

"We are really excited for KTM to partner with MotoAmerica on this project with a clear goal to help bring youth back into American road racing. We are proud of the effort MotoAmerica is putting toward reviving road racing in this country and look forward to a season of exciting racing from our RC Cup to the premier SuperBike class." Jon-Erik Burleson, KTM North America's President, says for the RC Cup Series.

As the firm has revealed that they will be going to introduce the factory sealed RC 390 over the race tracks, hence a special team will be present to check the wears and tears of the sports motorcycle while racing. So, the engine teardowns, rebuilding and ECU checks will be done by HMC technicians. The KTM has made a deal with the HMC technicians for the checkup of the sports motorcycles while riding over the race tracks. The firm will not be allowing the road-legal versions of the KTM RC 390; hence the track-versions will be making its availability at the KTM dealerships as Ready-to-Race motorcycles.
