Lamborghini India to Bring Aventador S on March 3

Hiding more powerful engine under the hood, the new Lamborghini Aventador S was recently unveiled globally in December last year. And now, fresh reports touched online that the flagship supercar will also be available in the Indian market from March 3rd, 2017. This will be the company’s second launch of the year after the Huracan RWD Spyder which took place in the first week of February.

On the outset, the Lamborghini Aventador S is powered by the same naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that underpins the standard model. Mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, the engine is now generating 740 horsepower (40 hp up from standard one) along with a peak torque of 690 Nm. With the additional power, it takes only 2.9 seconds to do 0-100 kmph of acceleration and can hit a maximum speed of up to 350 kmph.

In terms of design and styling, the new Aventador S gets a more aggressive profile and muscular lines. Up front, the supercar comes with a new bumper along with a new centre design and revamped air intakes. The updates have been made to work with air harder, with the car’s new front splitter and diffuser produces 130 percent more downforce.

At the rear, it sports an active rear wing which further enhances downforce and minimises drag. Besides, a newly designed three-piped exhaust system is also there. Also new are the Pirelli P Zero tyres and LED headlamps. No such changes have been made to the cabin instead of a new digital instrument cluster. What’s most interesting thing is the four-wheel steering facility that is for the first time in Lambo.
