Mahindra TUV 300 Plus that is a replacement for the Xylo, an SUV from the company, is set to launch early in 2018. Moreover, an extended version of the model in question is also in the queue that is the TUV 300 Plus P4. Recently, the price of this P4 variant has leaked via a dealer invoice from the South that tells it will be priced at INR 9.46 lakh ex-showroom.
From the images, it is clear that the P4 is the extended variant of the TUV 300 and shares almost similar ergonomics as of the on-sale Mahindra Xylo. However, the lengthy version of the TUV300 witnesses MPV body style but in the market, it will serve for the niche people carrier segment. That is when launching in India, it will pick from where the Xylo will be left on the market.
In terms of power, the Plus comes laden with the last year introduced mHawk D120 1.99-litre diesel engine. As the 2.0-litre engine rules have been mandated in the NCR, last year, the brand is using this mill almost in its every upcoming vehicle in SUV category. The mill is capable of generating the peak of power of 120bhp in connection with a six-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra also offers a six-speed AT option with the powertrain for its flagship XUV500 model, is not likely to be offered with the P4 variant.
Well, there could be any changes in the price of the TUV 300 Plus P4 as the revealed price is not official and it will unveil officially by the automaker.
