It looks like Mahindra & Mahindra has examined the country’s market very carefully and offers so much updated features with its highly famed car, XUV 500. As fresh reports, the company has modernized a new 6-inch monochrome infotainment system for W4 and W6 variant along with USB, Bluetooth audio, hands-free calling and iPod connectivity with CD.
Mechanically, Mahindra XUV 500 remains same and is powered by powerful mHawk 140 diesel engine option accompanied with fifth generation variable geometry turbocharger (VGT). It makes 140 bhp of power at 3,750 RPM and 330 Nm of torque at 1,600- 1,800 RPM. For transmission, there is a 6-speed synchromesh manual unit.

Talking more about the Mahindra XUV 500's other higher and top end variants, namely W8 and W10 have also been brought up to date with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with GPS, USB, audio & video, hands-free calling, Bluetooth, iPod connectivity and picture viewer. The most interesting factor that can attract more customers is the price that also remains unchanged, which is around INR 12 Lakhs and goes up to INR 18 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for its top-end variant .
