Maruti Plans To Bring 4,000 Operational outlets by 2020

According to the data collected from the FY 2014-15, Maruti Suzuki operates around 1,820 dealerships located across 1,470 cities in India. In the present year, the automaker aims to add more 200 outlets, adding more strength to the total dealership outlet. However, for making it a long run, the domestic carmaker will operate around 4000 outlets by 2020.

Speaking over the upcoming plans, Mr. RS Kalsi, Maruti Suzuki India Executive Director Marketing and sales says, “We are looking at doubling the sale outlets to 4,000 by 2020. This is in line with the ambition to sell two million units by 2020. We have also planned the Nexa premium outlet expansion as well. The current 127 Nexa showrooms will be stretched to 250 in the FY2016-17.

The company aims to reach its valued customers as much as it can. The company wants to offer all the services at the nearest distance available. The reports suggest that the automaker is going to launch 15 new models by decade end. The company is looking to the expansion off shores as well. The Maruti Ignis and Maruti Baleno RS have been scheduled to be launched later this year.
