The leading car manufacturer of the country, Maruti Suzuki has added a limited edition to its much anticipated compact sedan, Swift Dzire. The limited edition is named, Swift Dzire Allure which boasts of additional features, besides cosmetic updates throughout interiors and exteriors. Although, the mechanical specs of this special edition remains identical to those of outgoing model.
This special edition makes the car more appealing from inside-out than ever before. Starting with the exteriors, the Swift Dzire Allure edition is offered across six different shades. The compact sedan also gets a bucket of new body equipment including side skirt, chrome protected bumper corner, ‘Allure' body graphics, a chrome-finished Allure badge, a chrome window frame kit and a chrome accented bootlid.
As you step inside, you will be welcomed by the dual-tone interior, the dark brown and light brown painted cabin. The dash is coloured in the light brown while the cabin highlights feature dark paint scheme. The leather seat upholstery takes a dip into the chocolate brown theme making the cabin charming. The interior feature list includes ‘Allure' branded pillows, front centre armrest, ambient lighting, optional Nertz music system and beige floor carpets.
As mentioned before, the Swift Dzire Allure edition will continue to be powered by the existing powertrains - a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that is good for 74 bhp and 190 Nm and a 1.2-litre K-series VVT petrol engine churning out 83 bhp and 115 Nm.
Transmission duties will be carried out by a standard 5-speed manual gearbox on both petrol and diesel variants, with an optional 5-speed AMT gearbox for diesel powered models.
