Mercedes A Class and B Class Special Edition Launched

The German auto maker launched the Edition 1 special editions of Mercedes A class and B class in India yesterday trying to lure the customers before the festive season. The Edition 1 special editions of the Mercedes A class and B class have some changes in the exteriors and interiors, but mechanically everything is same. The cars are luxurious, dashing, speedy and best in the niche without any doubt, but the availability of the many options like the Audi A3 and BMW cars could hurt the sales.

However, if we talk about the features, the Mercedes A class and B class have cosmetic changes like matt black decals on the running boards, sunroof, electrically-adjustable front seat (passenger), glossy black-colored wing mirrors, black hub caps and Edition 1 logo on both out and inside of the car. Exteriors also have changes like 17-inch Tremolite grey alloy wheels, 17.8 cm rear entertainment screen in the B class with DVD players and infrared headphones. The Edition cars don't have any changes in the engine department and has the same 2.2 Litre 4-Cylinder churning out 107bhp and 250 Nm with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox offering the mileage of 20.06 km/l and 18.98 km/l for the A class and B class respectively.
