Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe Launched In India

Mercedes-Benz introduced the AMG S 63 Coupe in the country on 18th June 2018 with a price tag of Rs. 2.55 crore. In the row, this is the 3rd AMG launch in the year after the SLC 43 Red Art, the GLE 43 Orange Art and the E 63 S 4Matic+.

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine which delivers a peak power of 600 bhp along with a maximum torque of 900 Nm. The motor comes paired to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. The AMG S 63 Coupe is able to touch 100 kmph from a standstill position in just 3.4 seconds.

With the occupation of a composite braking system, a lithium-ion battery, and light forged alloy wheels, the S 63 Coupe is able to reduce the weight by 65 kg than the previous model. The S 63 Coupe obtains the Panamericana grille, which restores the performance of the AMG cars. The apron in front of the AMG vehicle has two air inlets pointed up in black. A splitter upfront is able to deliver an appropriate muscular appearance to the car.

Coming to the rear side, it has a new diffuser along with a new apron and a newly outlined twin-tailpipes. The S 63 Coupe is also updated with the OLED tail lamps. You will notice total 66 OLEDs in number giving an exceptional look to the car when citing from the rear. The AMG S 63 obtains the standard collection of AMG features including speed-sensitive steering, driving modes, a track pack and active ride control.

The track pack is able to capture the lap times and other information regarding the vehicle in order to assist the drivers to figure out the lap times. However, all these features may or may not be found in India spec model, that all will be confirmed by the launch.
