The latest MY 15 Chevrolet Captiva has been launched in Delhi for manual and automatic variants at INR 25.13 Lacs and INR 27.36 Lacs, respectively. General Motors India has updated this car very amazingly with added features to provide more plausible feelings for the occupants inside as well as to render more stunning look with regard to its existing model. Talking about new features, this runabout gets a cruise control, electric parking brake, sunroof, third row HVAC, latest instrument cluster and rain-sensing wipers. Mechanically, this vehicle is machined with a 2.2 litre diesel engine that has already been seen in its previous version while producing impressive power of 186.5 bhp at 3,800 rpm and awesome torque of 400 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The updated Captiva comes mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission variant, which promises to adduce 14.6 km/l of fuel efficiency, while a 6-speed automatic transmission model is capable to give the appreciable mileage of 12.12 km/l.
Both of these transmission options do their duty to transfer the produced output to its all wheels that registers the name of this runabout in the list of all wheel drive vehicles.
