New 2017 Yamaha Fascino BS-IV now Available in Dual-tone shades

Following the Supreme Court ban on BS-III vehicle nationwide, the auto industry is quickly moving over the BS-IV grade engine for their products. To meet the new emission standards, Yamaha has launched the updated Fascino scooter with BS-IV grade engine. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the sector gets several cosmetic updates as well.

The updated Yamaha Fascino draws the power from an 113cc air-cooled SOHC engine mated to a V-belt automatic transmission. The BS-IV compliant unit generates the maximum power of 7.1 PS which is produced at 7,500 rpm, whereas on the other hand, the peak torque of 8.1 Nm churns out at 5,000 rpm.

The scooter features drum brakes at both wheels and suspension duties are handled by the telescopic forks upfront. The kerb weight of the vehicle remain unchanged at 1.3 kg, the ground clearance, however, has been raised up to 130 mm with the minor increase of 2 mm.

Apart from these updates, now the 2017 Yamaha Fascino can be availed in various dual-tone paint schemes. The new dual tone shades of the scooter include Blending Blue, Fusion Red, Unite White, Mingling Cyan, Haute White and Sassy Cyan.
With new engine techs and cosmetic changes, the new 2017 Yamaha Fascino has been priced at INR 54,330 with a hike of INR 1,000.
