New Audi Q7 Seems to be Acquainted in India by the Year End

After studying the market reports, we got the information that Audi is aiming to set up its next generation Q7 model by the end of this ongoing year. Aesthetic and equipments wise, the car is expected to get Matrix LED headlights, an updated MMI system, a Virtual Cockpit system, four zone climate control and a 19 speaker Bose audio system. This modified vehicle seems to be imported via CBU route into our country, which is likely to mean that it might be built at Audi's plant situated in Slovakia and then, the manufacturer will bring it to India as a completely build model.

Under the hood, the crossover is expected to be machined with the same 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine as its current variant producing an appreciable power of 272 hp and a superb torque of 600 Nm. Notably, an 8-speed automatic transmission is also anticipated to be available with Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system for spinning all four wheels of this model. While the existing variant has been based on the VW PL71 platform, the upcoming Q7 is in rumors to use the latest MLB architecture, which will help it loss its weight around 325 kg.

Hence, the lighter weight will make the new generation model capable to return better fuel efficiency than its predecessor. Presumed to be priced between INR 75 Lac to INR 90 Lac, the forthcoming Audi Q7 would compete against the likes of the Volvo XC90, Mercedes GL Class and BMW X5.
