New Bajaj Commuter Bike Caught Testing: Exclusive Spy Shots

Bajaj's new offering in the commuter segment has been spotted performing tests. From the exclusive spy shots, the overall configuration of the bike portrayed that it is not the day-to-day basic commuter, still the motorcycle leaves us in heavy disguise. The all new commuter will sit in harmony with the present Discover, but will be available in a new brand. It is going to be a strong rival to the likes of the Honda Shine in terms of a stylish, dynamic and easy to ride motorcycle.

Scrutinizing its design, the new voyager will be a shadow of the Avenger Series, formulating it to be the most economical cruiser bike. The rear suspension, chassis, wheel size and overall rear structure design are highly identical to the Bajaj Avenger 150. Subsequently, it will be having a low-lying seat height for the rider and the pillion. Bajaj has also positioned the foot pegs at the appropriate neutral location instead of putting them forward, to grab wider masses.

Stepping towards the front portion, the commuter looks materially distinct. To grab the attention of younger audiences, it gets a round-shaped fuel tank, heavy rear tyre and a massive exhaust. On comparing it with the cruiser Avenger, the commuter has been equipped with a flat handlebar rather than the Avenger's raked out front and sluggish bar, defining it to be a perfect street bike.

When it comes to the mechanicals, the motorcycle gets uniform telescopic forks, a 17-inch alloy wheel and to perform the braking duties, 240mm single disc brake up front. Talking about the rear end, it takes a 16-inch rear wheel just like the Avenger, a new swingarm, 130mm drum brake and gas charged twin shock suspension.

On a probability, the power comes from a heavily revised 150cc, single cylinder motor, which is likely to produce 14 to 15 BHP of power mated to a five-speed transmission. First half of the forthcoming year will witness the arrival of this new commuter. Stay tuned with Sagmart to get all the latest updates of this new motorcycle.
