Suzuki Gixxer, when first time spotted in Mumbai created much rumors about this upcoming bike. And second time the company officially exposed their bike in Auto Expo 2014. Suzuki Gixxer will be launching soon in Indonesia in this year. According to a Report, it is not yet confirmed that this bike will be imported to Indonesia from India as a CBU or as in CKD kits.
The features and design given by the company to this bike will seems to be a great competitor for Yamaha FZ-16, namely called as BYSON. Suzuki designed this bike by keeping youth in mind as it has stylish and dynamic features especially designed for college going and young executives.
Its 150cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine is more than enough to produce 13.9 PS and 13.4 Nm of peak torque. However this is also blessed by Suzuki Eco Performance(SEP), as it helps to juice out more mileage from the engine. The engine is tuned to produce extensive low-end torque and dynamic mid-range power for strong acceleration. The new SEP technology, will help to boost up the performance and better fuel efficiency. This bike gets 5-speed transmission. This bike features a monoshock suspension in the rear and telescopic forks in the front suspension. Gixxer's tyres are with front unit being a 100/80/17 and rear is using 140/60/17. The clean looking tail, which adds to the sportiness of the bike, comes with body coloured grab rails.
The expected launch of "Suzuki Gixxer" will be in between the month of July-August, 2014 and expected price of this bike will ranges from Rs. 80,000-90,000.
