TVS NTorq 125 is the recent introduction in the Chennai based manufacturer’s Indian lineup. It was launched at the pricing of INR 8,750 (ex-showroom Delhi). The NTorq is the only scooter in TVS’ stable to cater the 125cc segment. Earlier put on sale with choices of four colours including Matte Yellow, Matte White, Matte Green and Matte Red, the scooter has witnessed the introduction of two more new colours like Metallic Blue and Metallic Grey. The company brought this cosmetic update just in two months of scooter launch. For which, the company is not asking any additional price and offering it at the ongoing price sticker. The new colours introduction will not expand the colour choices but also freshen up the scooter’s colour palette.
In terms of mechanicals, the scooter continues with the similar underpinnings. A 125cc, three-valve engine beneath the under seat storage space is bolted to deliver the maximum power of 9.3bhp at 7500rpm and 10.5Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. With a good acceleration, the scooter is rated to attain the top speed of 95kmph from the mated powertrain.
Being offered in a single front disc variant, TVS NTorq 125 comes featured with fitments like first in segment smartphone connectivity and an all-digital instrument console with satellite navigation facility. In terms of price perspective, one of the best 125cc scooters, the NTorq 125 competes with the likes of Honda Grazia, Suzuki Access 125 and the Aprilia SR 125.
