Honda has updated the Honda Jazz premium hatchback and introduced in India today. The updated Honda Jazz is revealed a year back during the 2017 Frankfurt motor show. The hatchback does not get any mechanical or design based changes. Although, some additional equipment addition will make it refurbished.
The S trim of the Jazz replaces E-trim and becomes base variant of Jazz powered by a diesel engine and higher trims V and VX obtain both diesel and petrol engine choices. Further, mid-range SV variant also removed.
The refurbished Jazz takes more of additional features, although the styling changes are not so much prominent. The car gets a touchscreen infotainment system and other features as well to make its equipment list well-accommodated. Across the range, some features such as LED-tail lamps, driver's seat height adjust, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, a four-speaker audio system, driver and co-driver vanity mirrors, EBD, reverse parking sensors, power-adjustable wing mirrors, a rear defogger, a front-centre armrest, steering-mounted audio controls, and ABS as standard across all trims.
The new Honda Jazz is available in five exterior color choices comprising a red shade and a new silver. The magic seats have been removed with the top variant. The Digipad 2.0 takes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity will be standard in top-spec models, as expected.
The new Honda Jazz is not available with any such mechanical changes tweaking the engine option, which refers the 1.5-liter diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and 1.2-litre petrol powertrain with a five-speed manual. The updated Jazz will rival to the Maruti Baleno and recently updated Hyundai i20 in the market. The Honda Jazz hatchback is not available with a diesel-CVT variant in the market like the Honda Amaze. The Jazz is priced between Rs. 8.05 lakh to Rs. 8.99 lakh.
