The super sports, GT-R has a huge fan following in the international market and so as in India. A few units have already been imported to the country and spotted testing several times. The brand has no intention to produce a large volume of super and expensive cars. With the launch of speedy GT-R, Nissan is hoping to get a bump in the sales of other models in India. Being a highly expensive sports car, there is no direct competitor in the Indian market. In spite of being a two-seater, however, the Ford Mustang GT may affect the sales of the Nissan GT-R, as the Mustang is the popular car among the Indian enthusiasts and one the best choice to get hands on a sports car at such a reasonable price.
