The Italian automaker, Fiat launched the updated version of its Punto Evo in India last year with more captivating outlook and modified cosmetic features. This ongoing car has been missed out the powertrains upgrades, while now the manufacturer is aiming to categorize this hatchback in the list of performance oriented vehicles with powering it by a highly acclaimed T-Jet engine. The runabout will be machined with a 1.4 litre turbocharged mill to produce a maximum power of 114 PS as well as a peak torque of 207 Nm. The engine will be paired to a manual gearbox for transferring the produced power to its wheels.
Comparing with the Linea T-Jet, the Punto T-Jet is expected to be much faster alongside its lower kerb weight, which would also make it more fuel efficient than the Linea.
