Piaggio Fly 125 Scooter has Entered India for R and D Purpose, Launch Soon

After the Piaggio MP3 Hybrid scooter, the firm has brought down another 125cc model of scooter to the country. The Piaggio MP3 is the first three-wheeled scooter designed and manufactured by the Italian firm. However, this is not the first time when the firm is planning to introduce any scooter in the country. The Vespa, a Piaggio owned brand is currently selling out its products. The Vespa scooters are pretty much liked by the youth crowd of the country. The retro-styled carried by these scooters just works as eye-candy for the trespassers as well.

Piaggio Fly 125 Scooter

Moving towards the upcoming scooter, the Piaggio has brought down its 125cc displaced scooter, named as Piaggio Fly 125. The Fly 125 is powered by an air-cooled, Leader 4-stroke engine carrying an engine displacement of 125cc. The engine is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 12 BHP and a peak torque of 10.7 Nm. The engine is mated to an Automatic Twist and Go transmission. The suspension duties are being guarded by telescopic front forks and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The stopping power has been taken care by a front disc brake and rear drum brake.

Piaggio Fly 125 Scooter

The Piaggio Fly 125 was being imported to India for R&D purpose. Talking about the looks and makeover of the upcoming scooter, the Piaggio Fly 125 has carried pretty simple features. In terms of cosmetic makeover, the upcoming Piaggio scooter will be directly rivaling with the existing Honda Activa 125, New Suzuki Swish 125 and various 125cc displaced scooter offered by several two-wheeler manufacturers in the country.

Eventually, the upcoming scooter from Piaggio doesn’t really require enough of branding, as the pricing section is just a relief as compared to the Vespa brand scooters. The Piaggio Fly 125 would be expected to cost in between Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000.
