Porsche has launched the special edition of Panamera in the Indian automobile market for INR 1.04 Crores (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The supercar has been named as Porsche Panamera Diesel Edition and is loaded with amazing exterior as well as interior cosmetics. This is the first launch from Porsche in the country for the year 2016. Being a special edition, it receives some unique features for the Gran Turismo model.

Discussing the features of the luxury model, it stands on 19-inch alloy wheels and its facsia is adorned with a pair of Bi-Xenon headlamps, which make use of Porsche Dynamic Light System. Features like Active Suspension management and Park Assist are new additions to the car. The exterior also houses wheel hub covers that include a colored Porsche Crest.

Moving on to the cabin, there is bicolor leather upholstery covering the internal section and the headrests get Porsche crest. It flaunts a Black & Biege color tone high highlighting the dashboard as well as the seats. Further, there are fitments like a sporty steering wheel, and door sills have 'Edition' embedded on them.
There is also Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system carrying a 7-inch touchscreen interface with audio, navigation and communication features. There are 14 Bose Surround System speakers carrying 585 watts of output. Mechanical configuration includes a 3 litre, V6 diesel engine that is good enough to pump out maxium power of 250Bhp and 550Nm of peak torque. This output is transmitted to the wheels with the help of a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
