Production-Ready Pulsar RS400 Spied, Launch Soon

After having several successive launching in the country, the next upcoming launching would be the most awaited fully faired street fighter, Bajaj Pulsar RS400. The source and spy shots over the internet are indicating that it would be the next product of the firm that will take place in the Indian two-wheeler market by the end of current fiscal. The upcoming motorcycle with the sticker of RS400 was caught inside a service center, Pune. Moreover, the 2014 Auto Expo was the deponent of the presence of Pulsar RS400 and CS 400, where both the sports motorcycles were busy in grabbing the attention of the audience.

In terms of design, from tail to nose, the Pulsar RS400 looks very identical to its younger brother, RS200. Thus, the Pulsar RS400 continues with the same aggressive style and full fairing. The motorcycle has wolf eye shaped two projector headlight, muscular fuel tank, alloy wheels and LED tail light, whereas, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is standard in the Pulsar RS400. It is expected that the motorcycle will make its presence in the market in new color scheme. Featuring large engine displacement, the RS400 would be expected to be installed with dual channel ABS.

The company has not disclosed the technical specifications yet, but it is expected that the RS400 will be featured the same engine that power the KTM’s Duke/RC 390, such as the motorcycle will be powered by the same single-cylinder and 373.2cc engine displacement which is likely to be produced 43.5 PS of power and 35 NM of torque. It is expected that the manufacturer will tune the engine with a fuel injection system to enhance the power output as well as performance. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.

The Pulsar RS400 will be directly competing with the KTM's naked and fully faired motorcycle, 390 Duke and RC 390.
