Royal Enfield Price Hike on All Range of Models

Royal Enfield, which is to be considered the best- selling bikes in India as well as in the international markets. Royal Enfield, Chennai- based bike manufacturer has heightened the prices across all ranges of motorcycles including Bullet 350 and 500, Classic 350 and 500 as well as the Himalayan. A maximum of Rs 1500 has been enhanced by Royal Enfield on its 350-500 cc ranges of models.

However, the company has not officially disclosed the price hike of its 350-500 cc ranges of models but the dealers have started selling the bikes at higher price tags starting from this month. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and 500, Classic 350 and 500, as well as Himalayan, comes with the revised price tag. There are no changes in the price of newly launched Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

After the price hike, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is now selling at Rs 1.34 lakh whereas the Classic 350 ABS has been priced at Rs 1.53 lakh. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS Signals Edition comes with a revised price tag and now it is now selling at Rs 1.63 lakh, however, the company has enhanced the price of up to Rs 1500 on it. The Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS variant has now been selling at Rs 1.80 lakh. The Interceptor 650 is retailing at the same price at Rs 2.49 lakh while the Continental GT 650 is selling at Rs 2.64 lakh. The aforementioned prices of all models of Royal Enfield are ex-showroom prices of Delhi. Notably, The price may vary from state to state.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350

The reason for the price hike of the Royal Enfield range of models has not been announced by the company but assuming that the increase in production cost is one of the reasons for this. Since August 2018 Royal Enfield is working upon to introduce dual-channel ABS in its all ranges of models except the Bullet 350. All of the models of Royal Enfield now have been equipped with the safety features. The Bullet will come with some upgrades before the April 2019 deadline.

As per the leaks surfaced on the internet, Royal Enfield is working upon to introduce a new special edition motorcycle later this year which is to be badged with Trials edition. The special edition motorcycle would come with Bullet 350 and 500 which was spotted in spy shot images. The exact launch date of the new bike is not available at the moment but expected that it would hit the market later this year.
