Suzuki Burgman Street Spotted at Dealerships Ahead its Launch

Suzuki Burgman Street that is all set to hit the Indian market on 19th July, has been spotted at select dealerships’ display. The dealers' sources revealed it will be priced around 76,000 (on-road), for which a few outlets have started accepting booking at the token amount of INR 5,000. Whereas, the deliveries for this going to be the first Maxi-styled scooter in India, is expected to commence by the end of this month or early next month.

Internationally, available in the displacement range of 125cc to 650cc, Suzuki Burgman Street 125 was primarily showcased in India at Auto Expo 2018. Here, it is going to be available in the 125cc segment for now. It will be the brand’s most premium offering which shares popular Suzuki Access 125 underpinnings.

The Burgman Street 125 draws styling inspiration from its elders are on sale in the International market. It is brand’s first scooter developed in India and to feature an all-LED headlamp and all-digital instrument console. In addition to this, the scooter will be featured with a multi-function key slot, ample under-seat storage, mobile charging facility(could be optional), adjustable footpegs, storage pocket up front and an LED tail-lamp. All these features will take care of your ride.

Powering for the Street 125 will come from tried and tested 125cc scooter shared from the Suzuki Access 125. The 124.3cc engine churns out the power of 8.6bhp at 6,500rpm along with 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm. The braking power for the scooter will be delivered by the armed disc brake up front and a drum unit at the rear. Besides, the brand’s patented combi-braking system will ensure precise braking performance.

Here, the scooter that will come draped in black and white colour schemes, will challenge the likes of TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia 125, which are available to purchase at the price sticker of INR 59,687 and INR 63,994 (disc brake variant), respectively. Both the prices are applicable at the Delhi dealerships. Any official announcement or the launch event will reveal the actual pricing of the Burgman Street 125 in India, till then wait and watch.
