Cruiser-lovers! Here is something to make you appease, the new Suzuki Intruder 150 with ABS control launched in India. The Avenger, Thunderbird, and Renegade cruiser will face a new competitor in the form of Suzuki Intruder 150.
Looking sharply at the outer body, the motorcycle carries look from bigger Intruder M800 and M1800 and lends power plant setup from the famous Gixxer.
The new Suzuki cruiser is quite a rich in features which includes an LED tail-light, a flush-fitting fuel tank cap, a digital instrument console and also ABS(anti-braking system). The Bajaj Avenger is lacking in ABS, engine capacity, and the features that new Suzuki Intruder has.
The Intruder is priced at Rs. 98,340(ex-showroom, India) which is quite high than rivals from Bajaj, however, most of the features are advanced and missing in Avenger Street/Cruise 220.
The new cruiser is powered by a Gixxer-based 154.9cc engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 14.8 BHP at 8,000 RPM and a maximum torque of 14Nm at 6,000 RPM. The bike has a five-speed gearbox and not equipped with fuel injection like the Gixxer range.
Surely there is no doubt regarding the good performance of the bike on the highway as it has an 11-liter fuel tank to translate but it is shorter ranged comparing a 14-liter tank of Avenger. It will be a perfect choice for the cruiser lovers who are looking for a stylish, 70mm seat height, 148 kg kerb weight and relaxed motorcycle to twice the comfort with a commuter.
So, the new Suzuki Intruder 150 with ABS is for them who are deciding to buy a cruiser and not finding anything good in existing crop of cruisers.
