With the new launches, the Suzuki Motorcycles has already collected a huge number of likes among the Indian customers. The lately announced, Suzuki Gixxer has been awarded as the Motorcycle of the Year 2015. Following the success steps of the naked motorcycle, the firm has recently launched the faired version; Suzuki Gixxer SF. Moreover, adding some more spices, the Japanese two-wheeler maker has now made an announcement for the Suzuki Gixxer Cup, in order to enter into a new Racing Arena. The Japanese two-wheeler giant will be launching the "Gixxer Cup" in the month of June, 2015. It could be an amazing step to increase the number of fans among the Indian youth crowd.
About the Gixxer Cup, it is a one make championship race, starting from the month of June, 2015 and lasts till October, 2015. The Gixxer Cup will be taking place in two genres or championship races; 'Novice' for the beginner level racers and 'Open' for the professional riders. The Racing Championship will be taking place at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore and the Madras Motor Race Track located in Chennai. The event will held in the conjunction with the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
The Suzuki Motorcycles will be providing 20 fully race-prepared Gixxer SF for 5 rounds of racing. The riders will be getting full back-up support by the pit crew members and experts team. Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President at Suzuki Motorcycles, says about the Gixxer Cup, "Apart from showcasing the real potential of the Gixxer SF to Indian motorsport enthusiasts, this championship will double up the as an opportunity for local racers to hone their skills by providing them an affordable platform to gain valuable racing experience and exposure to the dynamic sport of motorcycle racing."
