Suzuki Solio Spied On Gurugram Roads

The Suzuki Solio has been caught while testing on Indian lands. A plainspoken image of the car is spotted while running on Gurugram roads just near to Maruti Suzuki facility unit, Manesar.

The new car is available with a seating arrangement for 4-5 people. Coming to the outer dimensions, it measures 1,625 mm wide, 3,710 mm long, and 1,745 mm tall specs. Dimension wise, the car is wider and longer than the Maruti Wagon R. But not following the Wagon R, the Suzuki Solio comes equipped with sliding doors for approaching the rear bench.

The engine of the solio takes power from a 1.2 L K12C petrol engine which is available in a hybrid setup and the motor is able to churn out a maximum power of 91 PS and a peak torque of 118 Nm.

There are 5 variants based on hybrid category including a non-hybrid G variant which comes mated to a CVT (Continuously variable transmission), two mild hybrid variants naming MZ and MX which come mated to a CVT and two hybrid variants SZ and SX are available with an AMT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki has not yet revealed any plans to bring this latest Solio model to India. Although, the company has assured that the Wagon R will also get an update and will be introduced with facelift during this year only.

The Solio or facelift of Solio is expected to introduce in the market as latest generation Wagon R car. The Maruti Suzuki is expected to bring the Solio model in India at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2018 to analyze the response of public towards the new model.
