Suzuki Vitara Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show 2014

The only SUV by the Maruti Suzuki namely Vitara has been unveiled by the company at the Paris Motor Show 2014. The car was first demoed at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 and has come up with some changes in the current show. The car is based on the iV-4 concept has many refreshed design elements comparing the older version of the car. It was earlier discontinued in the Europe, owing to poor sales. The new car comes with the circular headlights, huge chrome radiator grille, LED DRLs on the front bumper and much more.

The car gets its power from a 1.6 Litre petrol oil mill or a 1.6 Litre diesel engine. Both the engines will produce the maximum power of 118 bhp, however the petrol engine will offer 156 Nm of torque, while the diesel one will produce 320 Nm of torque. And, the petrol engine will get 5-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic, but the diesel will get the 6-speed manual transmission gearbox only. There would be standard front wheel drive system and the ALLGRIP AWD will be a paid option for both the variants.

The company will offer the car in 15 different colors with the front and rear skidplates and the body side moulding as well. The car will be launched in early 2015 in India and that time only, its price would be disclosed. The main competitors of the car will be Toyota Fortuner, Renault Duster AWD, Hyundai Santa Fe and others as well.
