Maruti Suzuki has just launched the Vitara Brezza a day earlier and received around 2,600 bookings till now. The Vitara Brezza is the first ever compact SUV from the domestic carmaker Maruti Suzuki. As of now, its base variant is available at a price of INR 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Vitara Brezza will compete with the prominent sub 4-metre SUVs such as Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be available in six different variants namely LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+. It comes powered by a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine which is capable of delivering 90PS of maximum power and 200Nm of peak torque. The engine gets paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. However, the Vitara Brezza has been offered with a diesel powermill only but the automaker is likely to introduce the petrol variant soon.
The booking results are surprising and it reveals a good sign of strength.The deliveries of the most anticipated compact SUV Vitara Brezza will start from the last week of this month.
