We all are well aware about the applied rules in Delhi, by the Supreme Court, regarding the ban of registration of diesel cars having an excess of 2.0-litre engine. All the automobile companies have been facing the same problem and Tata Motors is also one of them. Now, as per the reports, the brand has been working to downsize it's 2179 cc and 2969 cc engines. Currently, Tata Aria, Movus, Safari, Safari Storme, Sumo Gold and Xenon, are included in the list of banned cars.

Including Tata motors, around 17 companies are going to face this new rule in Delhi till March end. The list of automobile companies are listed as; Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, Maserati, Land Rover, Chevrolet, Ford, Force Motor, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mahindra & Mahindra, Porsche, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Volvo etc.

As for now, the detail about new ideas to brush out this declined stocks issue is unknown to us, but it will be revealed as soon as the reports come out. Besides, the company has also uncovered some new design and updated models, namely Tata Sport along with upcoming compact SUV, Nexon at the recently concurred Delhi Auto Expo.

If we talk about the Sport, it is based on same Bolt hatchback platform, which is first performance oriented entry level car from the Tata along and mounted with a new badge “S”.  The company also claims that it will catch 0-100 km/h under 13 seconds. In terms of engine, it comes with a 1.2 retuned engine to generate more power, fitted with a 5-speed manual transmission. Anyways, we can only assume that the new model might help to get over that decreasing sales of the company, what will happen next, it only depends on time.
