Tata Safari Storme Tuff at Delhi Auto Expo 2016

Tata Motors has displayed a lot of models at the Auto Expo in Greater Noida including the Hexa, Nexon and Zica models. It has also come up with a sporty limited edition version of Zica in Aqua Blue paint shade and now at the same event, the automaker has displayed the Safari Storme Tuff concept. This is a customised version of the concept that has been displayed through its personalisation studio. Other vehicles at this studio include Hexa Tuff, customised Zica hatch and the accessorized version of Zest.

Discussing the cosmetic elements, it get some additional equipments, which distinguish it from the regular Storme. It is designed as a rugged off-roader, which can run efficiently on rough terrain. The ground clearance is quite high and it gets steps on the edges for making the ingress and egress easier. There's even an all weather tent roof accompanied by an LED bar that offers added illumination in case of low lighting. From inside, it gets a Heads-Up display, tyre pressure monitoring system and water proof seat covers.

Tata Zica Aqua Blue

Mechanically, the specifications are borrowed from the top ranging Varicor 400 model in the lineup. It is fitted with a 2.2 litre turbocharged diesel motor that makes 154Bhp of maximum power and 40.79 Kg of peak torque. For transmission, there is a 6-speed manual gearbox that is further linked to a shift-on-the-fly AWD mechanism.
