The New Corolla Altis has finally been made available for sales in India by Toyota from today onwards. The car has been a top-lister already at both international and domestic circuits because of the technology, performance, quality and trust of Toyota. It was first shown to the people at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 and since then, buyers were waiting for it desperately. Now, as it has been made available for the sales, let's see what it has to offer us.
The car has been made available in both diesel and petrol variants with 1.4 Litre 4-Cylinder D-4D and 1.8 Litre engines respectively. While the petrol engine is supposed to produce the 140 PS @ 6400 RPM and 1900 Nm torque @ 4000 RPM, the diesel engine has the ability to produce 88.4 PS @ 3,800 RPM. The new Corolla Altis is 4,620 mm long, 1,776 mm wide and 1,475 mm high in dimension with 2,700 mm of wheelbase.
The Corolla Altis has been equipped with the features like push button start, key-less entry, LED Daytime lights, rear view camera, 7 inch touch display to control the functions and navigation, rain-sensing wipers, and yeah, the 8 way adjustable seat for the driver's comfort. The car also has safety features like dual SRS airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist and clutch start system. It is available in 7 color variants and nine trims for the Indian market.
