Third Generation Cadillac CTS-V Revealed

Prior to making a figuration at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show, Which will be held next year, the well popular American carmaker Cadillac has unveiled its third generation CTS-2016 Cadillac CTS-V. The runabout gets an aggressive exterior, including bespoke panel, lightweight carbon fibre alongside a prominent air extractor and its front end receives very sophisticated look comprising a front splitter as well as a larger air intakes. However, at the rear, there will be quad tailpipes and a prominent bootlid spoiler. Under the hood, it will be powered by a 6.2 litre supercharges V8 engine that has been inspired by the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Its predecessor was capable to produce 556 hp of power, while this most awaited runabout will churn out tremendous power of 640 hp and the torque of 854.16 Nm. The rear wheels will be driven by a paddle shift 8-speed automatic transmission with spectacular top speed of 320 km/h. It can achieve a stunning speed of 96 km/h in just 3.7 second. Coming to its technical feature, the Cadillac CTS-V includes Magnetic Ride Control as well as a Performance Traction Control holding four individual settings for electrical systems, such as Tour, Sport, Track and Show.

The Chief engineer of Cadillac, David Leone said, " With the stronger body structure – and more than a decade of V-Series production models and the CTS-V racing program experience – engineers tuned the CTS-V to deliver greater body motion control for a more agile feel, while maintaining excellent ride quality. The result is class-leading capability on the highway or track, balanced with luxury and refinement.”
