Triumph Thruxton Receives Special Edition Named, Ace

An announcement has been made by the British motorcycle manufacturer that the company will be revealing a new Special Edition Thruxton very soon. This upcoming motorcycle will be named as "ACE" and it will make its appearance as an exclusive motorcycle, as only 100 units would be manufactured by the Triumph. Being a Special Edition motorcycle, the Thruxton ACE will be making its availability exclusively in the United Kingdom. The ACE will be reaching by the end of December, 2014 and bookings will get commenced once the official priced would be disclosed by the firm.

The Thruxton ACE is completely based upon the Thruxton and Bonneville's basic models. ACE will be sharing the same technical specifications, which was being used by the basic models. The upcoming motorcycle receives its power from a parallel-twin engine with an engine displacement of 865cc. The engine is capable to belt out a total power of 68 BHP and a peak torque of 71.8 Nm.

On the cosmetic front, it can be said that the upcoming motorcycle is designed on a Cafe-Racer Classic theme. The Special Edition ACE is featuring bar-end mirrors, an oxblood custom-seat and a 'SE' written over the handlebar plaque. The company has also given various numbers of accessories for the Cafe-Racer Classic motorcycle, such as alternative seats, Arrow tail pipe and an elegant range of chrome parts. The Special Edition ACE was being revealed by the Managing Director of Triumph, Mark Wilsmore and the launching event was being held at the Ace Cafe. Along with that, the firm is also branding the cafe by featuring one-off white incorporated with black color over the fuel tank, rear section and side panels of the motorcycle.

Just a day before, the British motorcycle manufacturer has made an announcement of bringing up the Thunderbird LT to the Indian shores. The upcoming motorcycle belongs to the cruiser family and will be the 12th Triumph motorcycle in India. The company has opened up 9 showrooms all across the big cities in India, such as Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and many more with a total of 11 motorcycles.
