TVS Akula 310 Rendered in Envisage Version

TVS Akula 310, a concept motorcycle, introduced globally at the departed 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, last month. The envisaged images of this concept model, Akula 310 has been rendered by the Rushlane.

The styling of the road going version as per the Rushlane envisions rendering is accompanied with a twin headlamp, a tall windshield along with rear view mirrors, well studded front indicators to the fairing and undoubtedly a muscular fuel tank are placed at the front end. While LED taillight, split seats with raised pillion seating position and the exhaust unit from the racing concepts seems fascinating at the rear end. The suspension system contains upside down fork at front and monoshock at rear from the BMW G 310R altogether with the star shaped alloy wheels.

As per the TVS saying, the super-sport model get the name Akula, Russian name for the Shark, “ the deadliest predator” at designing perceptive. The super aggressive design with sharp fairing panels and a tailpiece completely justify the name Akula. The speculative rendering of the Akula 310 is just the imagination of the designer who just tried to fill the blank spaces. The production version will look closer to the concept model.

After receiving the positive response at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the TVS Motors is planning to launch Akula to the festive season this year, after the BMW G 310R hit the Indian market.

The Akula 310 will share the same BMW G 310R,a 313 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four valves and DOHC engine . The motor is tuned to produce power of 34 bhp at 9,500 rpm, and torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm on the BMW G310R and motor is mated to a six-speed transmission.
