TVS has launched the 2017 Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, and the flagship model RTR 200 with BS-IV compliant engine in India.
Flagship TVS RTR 200 is one of the most powerful motorcycles in the TVS line up. The motorcycle has been equipped with features such as fully digital instrument console, KYB monoshock and Pirelli tyres, BS IV compliance engine. It has been priced at Rs 92,215.
Apart from BS IV compliance engine, all motorcycles of Apache are loaded with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) norm and daytime running lamp (DRL).
The Apache RTR 160 has been priced at Rs 75,089, RTR 180 gets a price tag of Rs 80,019. The ABS variant of RTR 180 will be available at the price of Rs 90,475, approximately, Rs 10,000 higher than the non-ABS version. Yet TVS has not disclosed anything about Fi and ABS variants of Apache RTR 200. It is expected that both variants of Apache will be officially launched from the past one year. All the above prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
Meanwhile, The RTR 200 has won 2017 Bike of the year award whereas RTR 180 has been honoured with the title of the most affordable motorcycle with dual channel ABS as an option.
TVS has started dispatching BS-IV Apache models to the dealers across the country. Recently, dealers and the company are busy to clear the available stock of BS- III engine which turned out to be beneficial for many Indian buyers.
